About Founder & Director

Saptarshi Academy is an initiative of Saptarshi Advanced Technologies and is founded by Shri Pinakin Thaker an ex-ISRO scientist with more than 38 years of experience. He has vast experience in field of SATCOM applications, like Disaster Management, Mobile Satellite Services – MSS Terminal & Others Digital Communication, Semiconductor/VLSI Industry. In his journey he has trained many students, faculties, Navy Air force and defence staff. He was an active member in planning committee for development of ISRO Park Science City. He has worked for development of various SATCOM application like EPLDs, FPGA, ASIC/SoC as a head and developed SATCOM Modem ASIC/SoC from Architechture to Application. Presently he is Architecture and Designer of highest volume made  ASIC/SoC in the Country.

Semiconductor/VLSI chips are the basic building blocks that serve as the heart and brain of all modern electronics and information and communications technology products. Today, VLSI industry needs more and more verification engineers. Various industries/sectors need VLSI engineers in VLSI, Nano technology, Power Electronics, Telecommunications Industry, Robotics, Automation, IoT, Defense etc. In his blog, Harry Foster of Mentor Graphics has marked that with reference to the number of engineers in the last few years, a 4% increase in design engineers has required an alarming 58% increase in verification engineers.
